I would put a heater in the car with defrosters and if you do not have wipers, add them. I live in Ohio and although I do not mind a brisk breeze, it gets freaking cold at night sometimes. I have driven to many car shows when it was 70 degrees and on the way home at 10:00, froze my rear off. You can bring a coat, hat, gloves, etc, but that is a pain.

Also, wipers would be nice on those damp nights also. Radio? You can't hear it anyhow.

After you build your Cobra, build a Monster Miata so you will have something that your wife can ride in without *****ing about her hair, burnt leg, & smelling like gas. LMAO!! Don't forget about the A/C and heater issues too.

What I ended up changing

Upgraded to hydraulic clutch. The cable wasn't working well with a heavy clutch.
Upgraded cooling system due to rapid overheating at idle only. Items to address, plumbing including adding expansion tank (header tank not recommended), prpoer fan shroud, and electric fan must pull good cfm at 0.7" (published numbers are at 0").
Added efi due to big cam.
Change tires from 300 to 100 traction compound. Hugh difference. Trade off, you will not have suitable tires for rain.
Headers that came with FFR were not for raised port heads. Gordon Levy and GP Headers make headers and or pipes that fit FFR.

Definetly install heat mat.
