Can SB100's be returned to California?

Can SB100's be returned to California?

So, it's time to say g'bye to my ERA... I guess the only good thing is that they've appreciated pretty well, with ERA's current waitlist times helping that along.

The beast was originally registered in MA, then in California as an SB100 candidate. When I moved to CT, I was able to register it easily and without trading in the California pink slip.

So... it has the SB100 sticker, and the California title. Could it be returned to California and registered (to a new owner) without requalification under SB100 rules?
