I get the same advice from call centers. Never works even though I did it first.

Blue66 06-19-2017 04:43 PM

ya its just a quirk I think we have to live with here :o

520SC 06-19-2017 04:50 PM

I've been having the same problem. Whenever it happens, I go straight to the Street Beasts Forum Club Cobra - Streetbeast /Fiberfab/ CMC/ Innovative streetmachines

Once there, I can move to any of the Club Cobra Forums.

ACHiPo 06-20-2017 03:15 PM

After several days of no access to Club Cobra on PCs, I just tried it and was able to get in. I didn't even have to toss my cookies or dump my cache!

Gaz64 06-20-2017 04:09 PM

This is the only website this happens on for me.

What's wrong with it please?

blykins 06-20-2017 05:01 PM

Same here. I can't get on with a pc, no matter what browser I use.

Gaz64 06-20-2017 05:13 PM

I've noticed a few times if I google "club cobra", I can go into the "Aussie" part of the site.

Once in, it seems to work normal. I can leave and come back.

Just save a link to any one of the Cobra Manufacturer Groups, for example: Club Cobra - Superformance Owners Group

Enter the Club Cobra website using that link, then go to the top left hand corner of the page and click on "Club Cobra". That will take you to the main page. Works every time.

Yes, it's a bit of a PIA, but it just takes one extra click of the mouse and you're in.

Oh come on. Stop making excuses. This place has more problems with access than any other place I've ever been. Fix it or admit you don't care.

Yes. The GAS (give a sh**) factor is approaching zero.

I'm no website software expert, nor am I a Club Cobra administrator. Just trying to get people logged in with minimal effort.

To be honest, I think Club Cobra has seen its hey-day. From 2000 up until 4-5 years ago, it was a hopping site, but I think the activity has been cut way down.

The genre of my engine business has also transitioned from Cobra guys to older factory cars and race cars. Maybe the Cobra market has finally reached saturation?

Ron61 06-21-2017 05:05 AM

Well guys I have had the same problem and get the same error from 2 different computers running different operating systems and Browsers. I finally got onto the Test section and then managed to get onto the regular Forum page this morning. And I have no trouble at all getting onto CHR.

Ron

If I go directly to Welcome to Club Cobra...The world's largest non-biased Cobra site! - Club Cobra half the time it will correctly redirect me to http://www.clubcobra.com/modules/Jig/index.ph and half the time it will return the following error:

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 1048576) (tried to allocate 98304 bytes) in F:\Inetpub\wwwroot\clubcobra\forums\includes\class _core.php on line 1968

But if I manually type in the "/modules/Jig/index.php" extension to Welcome to Club Cobra...The world's largest non-biased Cobra site! - Club Cobra it works properly every time, even if I had 50 error attempts previously when going to just Welcome to Club Cobra...The world's largest non-biased Cobra site! - Club Cobra

And because the forum software "helpfully" resolves URL address when you type them in these responses, the site address that gives the problems is: http_://www_.clubcobra_.com_/ minus the underscores.
