Default Cobra Hot Rod?

Saw this on FB and didn't know whether it was widely known in the Cobra community:

"friend of mine saw this at the shelby meet in Vegas early 70s the 5 window body is on a original 427 sc cobra frame and the engine is a 427 sohc $3000 for it at the time hes still crying he didn't buy it."

It seems that I've seen that car on here before but it's been a few years. I think there was some discussion as to if the frame was stamped.

That car is briefly described in the Cobra book. The original chassis number was welded over and obliterated. It was purchased and restored to a chassis number the owner deduced, and the real one showed up I think in Australia. The original chassis number is was not known at the time, maybe by now it has been figured out.
