Default Assistance finding an LSD for my CObra (jag rear end)

Just after some advice if possible. I've making around 500hp at the tyres and at the moment I think the jag rear must have maybe 3.0 gearing and it only ever turns one wheel.

I heard that you can change the centre to a 3.5 which is a direct swap and it is LSD.

Is there anywhere who could either sell me one or point me in the right direction at all?

After maybe 3.5's or 3.7's with either LSD or a mini spool.

Thanks

Hi Julian.
It sounds like you would be looking for a 3.54 PL.
This ration is also available as a none PL, so be careful ;-)

Julian, I'm guessing that you're on the "other side" of the Atlantic. Give Alan Slawson at AJS engineering a shout. He is well regarded in the Jag forums for supplying/rebuilding/fixing Jag rears. Here's his web site: AJS Engineering Services - Jaguar specialists Give him a call and chat with him.

There is a Jag LSD for sale in the for sale section.

Link to parts for sale - http://clubcobra.com/classifieds/sho...p?product=7180

3.54-1 gears are pretty common for Jags. They show up on Ebay from time to time.

If you buy the LSD listed in the ad and get a Jag gear set that you want, then you could find a good mechanic to install everything.

You can also use Dana 44 LSD and gears with some slight mods. The Jag was a Dana 44 made under license, so it is very similar.

If none of that pans out, try Terry's Jaguar..

Call Curt Hamilton in Van Nuys, CA at 818-943-2323. He has everything for Jag rears and can fabricate a bulletproof rear end for you too.

I bought my LSD carrier and gears from Summit Racing. Dana 44 stuff. You'll, of course, need to know your stub axle info.
