Installed the radiator so I can start on the front end inner panels.
Also got the footboxes in and firewall installed.

Maybe I missed it but is there a reason why you are doing the body/sheet metal work first?

Well for starters you need a frame and a body, the rest just bolts or rivets on.

My painter likes the cars as just a frame and body as well, seems to work fine for now.

Pre fitting all the panels makes my finial assembly easier as well.

Suspension, plumbing, brake, wiring etc, is pretty much the same for all my builds.

Been a while on an update with this one, it's at the painters.

Looking really nice! Ivory/white is a great choice. Any particular car this one is replicating ..... 3295 possibly?

Cheers,

I don't know a lot about Sunbursts (apart from that they look good) ..... but I'm not sure they made a 9½" wide wheel that would suit a 427 Competition Cobra

Cheers,
Glen

Painted side vent louvers are the correct way to go. Most all replicas leave them bare and owners don’t take the time to prep and paint. They can be a PITA to do right (took me two tries to get mine acceptable). Nice work!
