After all they hype Ford did about the lottery criteria for the New Ford GT - we want the people that get them to drive them - the only one I've seen in the flesh is in a museum.

2 in my "car friends" group and one more coming.
We had a spirited run to our C&C in a slight mist. I was scared sh!tless and he TOOK OFF like I've never seen.

Meh. Not my taste. Looks like a kit car to me. I'd rather buy/own the Daytona Coupe.

if I would own one of the six, I would sell it to you and would buy:
2 or 3 CSX 2000 with race history
1955 Jaguar D-Type
1961 250 SWB California
1954 Siata 208 S
some cheaper cars like 356 Speedster, MG K3, Alfa Romeo SS Villa D'Este
and of course a Shelby Kirkham Daytona

We had four of them that I used to see driving around here but now I just see two. Don't know what happened to the others. And every once in a while I see one on the freeway.

I have WAY too much testosterone to "settle." When I don't get what I want, I'm a "slam my fist on the table and say bye-bye" type guy.
But I might consider a lost, but recently found, Daytona Coupe chassis that Shelby discovered in the back of his shop.
BTW, within the past two weeks, I saw a Daytona Coupe driving north on Highway 280 in the San Mateo/San Carlos area. He was driving in the slow lane going 55 mph, so I quickly passed him in my daily driver going 65 mph, the speed limit.
