Flitz Metal Polish

Somewhere on here I saw a thread some time back about this but so far I haven't managed to find it using the search feature. Do any of you know where that thread is? I want to find out if it will work on GT-40 wheels which are somewhat of a rough finish and it is hard to get brake dust and dog pee off of them.
