Kirkham for Sale SoCal

I'm selling my Kirkham. Have a look at the link in eBay. This car has every option available at the time it was built. Car is painted (i prefer painted) and probably has 15k in leather alone.

LMK if anyone is interested. https://www.ebay.com/itm/312737696346

sorry you are never going to sell a 140,000 dollar car like that . Need a big B.S. story Explaining who raised the cow that provided the leather for the seats and how sad the boy was when he found out what happened to his cow!

ERA 626 08-22-2019 05:04 PM

$140k ? perhaps you should paint the side pipe?

I don’t think you need a story. I think if you ordered a brand new roller with minimum options, painted it and dropped that motor in it might cost more than $140k. Still if this car is well optioned, it would make sense to list what the option are. Also a better description of the engine would be helpful.

I like it painted also. Nice looking!

It's a ceramic heat coating so I would have to remove it and send it away. Just haven't done that yet. I guess i could paint it so the pictures look better but that would be bs in my book. What you see is what you get.

It looks likes an interesting car, but why have two of you now put the car up for sale without even putting more than 4,000 miles on the car?

Like most of us around here, I have bought many, many cars over the years. And one of the first questions I ask the seller is "so, why are you selling this beautiful car?" You don't think that's a reasonable question to ask?

Slither 08-31-2019 01:01 PM

I have a young daughter and with her activities etc. I barley have time to drive the car. Not selling because of the car, selling because of my situation. Also. if you know these cars well, it's not a car you hop in quickly and take to the store. It takes a good 5 or so minutes to get enough heat into the engine for it to perform at its peak. In other words, you have to prepare yourself mentally to drive this beast. Don't get me wrong, i love driving the car but my life doesn't afford me the luxury being able to drive as often as i would like.
