Default Selling a car overseas

I have a 71 Chevelle that might be going overseas if the deal is done. I’ve never done a sale that has left CONUS. This is what was discussed.

1. Have money wired to my bank and cleared before any paperwork completed
2. Bill of Sale completed and signed by both parties, copies for both parties and shipping company that picks up car.
3. Signed Title and BOS send with car/shipper
4. Notation on BOS that once car is pickup up my liability is over and sale is final.

The buyer is handling all shipping arrangements but the title is my concern. Can I just sign it and let the buyer fill out all his info to make sure no mistakes are made or issues with customs? Just want it correct and legal.

Any tips or guidance will be greatly appreciated.

ASO

Looks like you have it covered pretty well. Two comments:
1. When I sold a car overseas I got all the money up front by wire. I had it wired to a stand alone account, then switched the money to my regular account as soon as I got it.
2. I advised the buyer to get insurance on the car as soon as the transaction was complete. I don't believe an insurance company will provide coverage to a non owner.
3. Once I have a car sold I don't drive it at all.
Good luck!
