Karl Bebout 03-22-2020 09:36 AM

Looks like exhaust pipe tubing at the slip joint.

MAYBE better than nothing?

Alfa02 03-22-2020 09:55 AM

My thought's also Karlos, seeing those slip joints :) Not only ugly but worthless TOO!!!! Cheers TommyRot.

Who’s driving that, Shaquille O’Neal?

spdbrake 03-22-2020 10:33 AM

I think they were looking to replicate this one on CSX3178 but got the proportions a smidgen off.

Looks aside, it would probably work a heckuva lot better than any of our onesy and twosy roll bars.

Gaz64 03-22-2020 10:43 PM

One would hit their head/helmet on the centre bar.

No form of head restraints (head rests).

Not for me.

I seriously doubt that. It looks like mild steel pipe, which would easily crumple on impact.

Was this red Cobra for sale recently?

The bar is familiar, and I could swear I saw it on eBaymotors.

It is on Facebook in their classified section. I could be on Ebay. I have a feeling they are having a hard time selling the car. It is located in Louisville, Ohio.

The Challange cars built by Finishline Motorsports had effective roll bars, wish I could post picture.
