2020 Club Cobra Car Show - Online this weekend!

Fellow car buffs

Recent times have shut us down, closed businesses and eradicated all gatherings. That said I am ready for something and this weekend is a long weekend that will be void of official get togethers and car events.

That said I was thinking, why not have a car show on this forum?
It will get us looking at pics, keep us social distanced and healthy.
My thoughts:
5 Pictures of your choice of your car
5 Sentences about each picture

That is simple and fun, no?
Something to do over a long weekend with "lackofcar" stuff.....
Of course it will be an ongoing thread at least for awhile. Let's have fun with it!

Can I bring Ellie?

Cheers

Ok, remember this only works if others join in...…
289 car

1) This car sports a 5-bolt 289 mated to a T-10
2) Interior is naked, mainly to avoid issues in the rain
3) Rear "Joseph flares" to allow for wider sneakers
4) Front spats are from Mr. Kress, they are a nice feature I feel
5) Frame is original style buggy! Weight 2230lbs

Here are some pics of my car, a blood-brother to Brett's #98.

It's a 289FIA in what I refer to “English spec.” It’s loosely modelled on COB6008, and has a roadster (dropped centre) dash with Smiths gauges, and RHD.
Under the skin, and thanks to the interpretation of local (Australian) requirements, it has a semi-monocoque aluminium alloy chassis, and the ‘glass body is reinforced with carbon fibre and Kevlar. Interior will be “naked” like Jeff’s.
Colour is my best guess at Viking Blue.
Engine is a 302W and gearbox is WR Toploader rebuilt by David Kee’s Aus. agent
