Mirrors, Got to be a better idea!
Ok, Cobras are sweet and love driving my BDR but really, there must be some better side mirrors out there to add on or replace what we have. Has anyone been down this path that can offer some suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Yes there are. There are some really nice billet aluminum ones that give much better visibility and look nice. They come polished or black anodized which likely would look best on your paint scheme. I got mine at Breeze Automotive that sells parts for mostly Factory Five roadsters and they have great service.http://https://www.breezeautomotive.com/?s=Mirrors |

I got one of those that shows a huge area behind the car and it worked great for me. There are a lot of different ones that are good and a big improvement over the stock ones.

If I remember correctly I think Patrickt has replaced his lenses with convex glass to give a wider angle of vision. Might try searching his past threads. |

That mirror is of higher quality than my OEM cars. |

KDubU, thank you for the mirror information. Just what I've been looking for. My current mirrors are next to useless.
 Very much appreciated!

Wonderful mirrors. I pulled off my stock one (with convex glass) after installing these.

I'm legally blind on the left, so these help a lot.

Also, I put convex mirrors on these from amazon for a couple bucks each, now they're perfect. You can get away without a center mirror if you had to.

An advantage of the dream car style mirrors is that they are mounted behind the wind wings, preventing the sun's reflection off the wind wings from obscuring the mirror.

Found my answer to the Raydot mirror visibility issue I had. Just mounted my new two beautiful black anodized "Dreamcar" mirrors and what a difference in driving with confidence. A+ and 100% happy..."all the way around"!
 Thank you Dreamcar!

I purchased a pair of these mirrors from Dreamcar Company. https://www.thedreamcarcompany.com/store.html
Terry responded immediately that he had material supply issues and was waiting for billet aluminum to arrive, and he kept me fully in the loop throughout. When the mirrors arrived they looked great.

The instructions were good, but because of the way my wind wings had been installed by a previous owner I couldn't follow the instructions as written and just swap the wind wings from passenger side to driver side. I had to completely diassemble the mounting blocks and wind wing brackets and then reassemble in a different fashion. The photos were extremely helpful as they showed clearly what the finished product would look like. When it was all done the mirrors fit perfectly and I'm ecstatic about their fit, finish and function.

Terry at DreamCar Co. was very helpful and was very prompt in responding to emails.

One of the best supplier experiences I've had in a long time. Highly recommended - both for the product but especially the service.
