Do you have a underdriven crank pulley? Retarded or over advanced timing can affect engine heat generated along with over concentrated antifreeze.

Great question it is a cogged belt I have to assume it is stock diameter as far as timing, went as far as I could go without pinging .cam comes on strong at 3500 to 6500 {limited}. somewhere between 32o and 34o total.

The only reference to cylinder heads refers to SBC heads and specific design issues - as far as I can tell it's not a general reference to aluminum cylinder heads.

I used in my Contemporary Classic a radiator for a big block Chevelle. It was a top/bottom tank and 3 rows thick, brass and I had it recored. Dimensionally it was a perfect fit and never a cooling problem.

My car's original builder did for use in Nevada. it is as wide as possible and is installed from underneath and is covered with four puller fans that completely cover all it's surface. The front nose of the car is all ducted for absolute air flow. It is the heaver old school brass and is low miniatous. I have the original builders records and i never saw anything about buying any radiator. The one improvement now would be new brushless electric fan motors.

Still looking just wanted the simple fix was wondering what others are using for their backdrafts? with the 427 motors.

you can also put weather stripping in the front of radiator on the sides so as to keep all the air going through the radiator and not around.
