Default Need your help identifying this replica brand

Hey Cobra Gang

Need to your help identifying this cobra replica brand. Helping the widow of the owner and I don't have a lot to go on yet...

I think it is an Antique and Collectibles.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Jeff

I would say by the trunk hinges it's a Factory Five, they are they only ones I have ever known to use those.
They exhaust pipes and wheel backspacing say otherwise though.

Jeff,

All the replicas I've seen with that wheel backspacing have been C4 Corvette-suspension based. That doesn't mean this one is, but the odds are high...

No idea as to make - although some of the early Everett Morrisons had that suspension, as well as some of the Hunters. I think most (all?) of the Hunters had a 93" wheelbase, and the added length was in the doors. There may be other builders who used the C4 suspension..

Probably need some more photos of the frame etc etc to be more specific.

Tom

Engine compartment, firewall, trunk for starters?

Thanks for the initial feedback! I will be getting more pictures over the weekend which will help narrow the field down.

Take care,

Jeff

I would say Factory Five also, from the trunk hinges and the very tall roll bar.

Smile

early days Lone Star offered trunk hinges like Factory Five. Measure the wheel base to see if it's 94"

I'm guessing the widow does not have the DMV title
showing description or chassis VIN that might provide clues.
