Steel spinners?

Does anyone sell the steel (?) spinners that are commonly seen on the csx replicas? Like these?

NROTOXIN 05-02-2021 09:24 AM

I asked for these on my current ERA build and was told they can't get them.

Have you personally ordered from or been in contact with him in the last few years? Phone # does not work, other threads here from the past do not look too encouraging.

No personal experience with cobraracing.com.

If you strike out with them you may want to contact Kirkham - they make a lot of their own components and may well be able to supply the spinners in SS, though I have seen elsewhere that their business appears to be booming.

I have a set I would part with!

I have the base plain SS and a set of the polished.

Kit Coyle 05-04-2021 08:17 AM

Hi Jeff...What are the markings on your SS spinners. I always fancied a set
of the unpolished ones from Cobra Engineering with the Hallibrand Eng. Co.
Torrance,Ca. on them. I talked to the son a few years back but he only had
three of the set left so I passed! He was afraid to make more as he was not
sure of the patents around the Halibrand name.
Hope you are well and ready for driving season!...Kit

Call Tom at 310 972 9553. Leave a message and he will get back to you. I have gotten stuff from him several times. I have gotten brake rotors from him in the last couple of months. Shipping price sucks but that part of getting what you need!

2 Attachment(s)
One set polished
One set naked

rodneym 05-04-2021 06:54 PM

I have 2 sets of “Shelby American Inc” spinners, one polished, one as-cast.
PM me.

yes I was in contact for these spinners, it took a while because they had to be produced first, just when they were ready an opportunity for a set of original steel spinners popped up and I didn't bought from Tom...

Kit Coyle 05-05-2021 04:51 PM

Jeff...What are you asking for the naked as cast set? I assume they would fit
the ERA...Kit

1985 CCX 05-05-2021 05:40 PM

Kit,
They would but their is one chap ahead of you.
No takers on polished. ??
Not sure what they go for? Guessing 80-100 each today as I have not bought a set in 10 years
