Most any 7" lamp will work, then H4 bulbs.

I like the Hella E-Code, European spec lamps for the beam pattern. The Plus 50 bulbs have been great.

There are LED H4 replacements.

You're searching for 7" headlights and H4 bulbs if so inclined.

Original back in the day would have been a Lucas sealed beam. (Round Lucas insignia in the middle) They’re not too rare and come for auction from time to time on eBay. I’m
not sure how “correct” you want to be but that’s what you’d look for if you want be accurate to original. Also, many owners changed to Lucas Tri-Bar bulbs and they look good. Just make sure they’re for US market when buying.

I guess you don't want to just flip them from left to right and then rotate them 180 degrees.

I did the headlamp swap when I bought my BDR two years ago. I guess that's what they install in South Africa when they assemble the chassis (they drive on the left hand side of the road as well). Mine have the street lamp at the bottom of the sealed beam.

RHD light patterns are different than LHD patterns. RHD headlamps will blind oncoming LHD traffic, and vice versa.

Simple graphic to show the difference:

Don't know if you're after originality or visibility. I've seen a few Cobras with LED headlights that look just like original sized 6014 headlights.(7" dia) They are BRIGHT!!!

My 2¢

The new LED bulbs are incredible, better then any halogen bulb! The first generation LED bulbs weren't much better then the old Prince Of Darkness Lucas bulbs. Cheers, Dennis
