That's more dependent on the heads than the block.

Default 302& 351W headers

These headers are not interchangeable regardless of the port description for a Cobra because of the differences in the deck height of the two blocks and the with of the the blocks without modification.

They could be the same header depending on the application. Its more of a chassis thing. 351 headers would hang a little lower if installed on a 302 If they would fit the chassis. Same goes for 302 headers on a 351. They will bolt on but may interfere with the floor pan or shock towers ect. In the case of a Cobra, they probably would not exit the body correctly.

You can use headers that were made for a 289/302 engine on a 289/302 engine with 351W cylinder heads.
