AC AK1276
Another special, MKIV snout, 15" wheels, no markers, two wipers, MKIII dash and 427SO and gas tank behind seats..
Some used 427 tank placement these do not.
Huge variety in these cars.

AC AK Frames were stiffer than MKIII and the reason, US DOT
Having a MKII, MKIII (HTM) and MKIV the MKIV is far more solid when driving and flex much more controlled. (stiffer chassis) Followed my MKIII then the MKII.
To make it more confusing depending on the year suspension changed as an example pre-1985 same tubular A-arms as MKIII. After 86 (EFI) they went box, and I am sure in the process still went back and forth depending upon who was working chassis and what day it was. A few tubes missing but you get the jist.
Hope I helped....

Well those are lovely shots. I don't know why the OP won't tell me whether he's talked money or not. After all, that's what makes the world go 'round. Especially in this hobby.

Well, my memory was partially correct on AK02. The auction source has some delightful pics of her.
The AK02 was one of the first Mk IVs that was sent to the DOT tests in the USA without a motor. This handful of cars from Ford were fitted with different motors to receive approval from the authorities, in the case of the AK02 it was a 351 cubic inch Ford V8. The AK01 is believed to have been destroyed during these tests, making the AK02 the oldest survivor of its kind. As an early model it still runs without a fuel injection system, a carburetor prepares the fuel mixture, and a Borg-Warner five-speed gearbox the power transmission. This Cobra then came to Austria in 2013. Of course, it is not old, nor does it want to be –*a welcome contrast to the large number of replicas. It is an AC Mk IV and is as real as it can be, just the way it is!
