Default Tremec TKX Shifter relocation mods

I bought a TKX and needed to move the shifter to the front location.

Default Any Reviews?

I've got the installation instructions for both forward shift TKX kits from SST and MDL (sold by race tuning). The SST kit is more expensive and involves cutting some shafts....the MDL just uses one new Tremec part along with the kit....so can be converted back (don't know why I would ever want to sell transmission)

The SST is more expensive, but if you have the part installed by them when you buy it...Installation is "Free"....and they will warranty the tranny as they modified it. This kit does negate the Neutral safety switch. It removes the selector ARM, seat, rail, and Neutral safety plunger....(Benefit is less drag I guess)...uses new lugs

MDL is $200 cheaper....retains selector seat, neutral safety plunger.....no more drag than it was manufactured with...but uses another $70 part reverse beveled 3/4 selector gear (I guess originally made for the TKO conversions) or you can try to bevel the part....(Doesn't seem worth it for my hourly rate..I'll buy the Tremec part)....

I guess it ultimately depends on the shiftability and smoothness between the two shifters....anyone with feedback?
