On the matter of MkIV prices - a dealer in Germany, Martin Kolnberger Classic Cars, has a MkIV for sale priced at £190,366 (that's quite a lot of US dollars). On a more interesting note, the same dealer is offering a small piece of Cobra history: the first Cobra-shaped car built by Brian Angliss of Cobra Parts, Byfleet, UK. This was created to see whether he could build a 427 from scratch using his Cobra 'spares'. A friend who owned a Very Important Cobra promised to buy the result. He did but sold it very quickly. Either way, this is not an AC nor an Autokraft Cobra - something in between. A one-off I guess. It's claimed to be a 1965 car but obviously this is slip of the keyboard as 1975 is closer. As for the price - £387,654. No more comments.... :) |
