				 Image vs. Vintage wheels
Does anyone have any incite on either Image or Vintage wheel manufacturers? I am looking at possibly purchasing a new set from one or the other. |

I've had excellent service from both Bob at Vintage and Curtis at Trigo. I'm not familiar with Image. My 2¢ |

We are currently waiting on wheels from Bob at Vintage. He has been great to deal with. He has returned calls, responded to emails. Couldn't ask for better customer service. |

I bought a set of rims for my cobra from Vintage last spring and I'm very happy with the quality of the rims and service is excellent.

The primary difference between Image and Vintage is the Image wheels are a 3-piece wheel (2 spun half shells bolted to a cast center) versus Vintage which is either a one piece cast wheel or two-piece wheel consisting of a barrel and welded in center. The Image wheel centers are more authentic to the original designs as they were cast from an original wheel. The Vintage wheels take some design "liberty" and are not exactly like an original wheel (depending upon the style you seek to buy). Finally, Vintage is here in the US versus Image and having to ship wheels in from the UK. I think the TRIGO wheels are very nice and appear to be a one piece casting. |

Bob at Vintage was a great help when I bought my wheels. I would buy from him again in a heartbeat.

Same here, both Vintage and Trigo are my "go to" companies.
