				Original Cobra tools question

OK, you British car fanatics in our midst! Here's a trivia question that I can't find the answer to. The original Cobras came with small bottle jacks that read "SHELLEY" on the side. I have seen a pair of british-made pliers that had "SHELLEY" stamped on them, too. Other 50's-60's vintage sports cars used Shelley jacks, too.
So... Who is the company that made them? Anybody got any info on the Shelley tool company or whatever they were called? I can't find any info with the web searches I've done. Has anyone ever seen a catalog that lists the different types of jacks they made? I have seen all different kinds of numbers and letters on the jacks, with very little difference in the appearance. Any help would be very much appreciated!
