Smile If you could own JUST one...

Here's a different twist on the most favorite poll...

If you could own a car in this group, which one would it be?

Assume the car is gifted to you and you cannot reap any monetary windfall by selling it.

I just wanted to say it was a virtual toss up between CSX 2000 and CSX 3002 for me. They both have tremendous draw due to the fact they are both the first of their kind.

The Flip Top--maybe I'll pry it from Mason's cold dead hands someday.

Only wished somebody made a replica of one.

Jamo, it's funny, I've wished for the same thing (the replica), but then I find I'm glad no one has, in a way. Maybe it's the thought of seeing a candy pink 2196 rep with chrome 22" wheels going down the freeway that makes me feel like that...

True. Well--maybe just one replica then.

Evan:

Have to agree. The choices are hard. This poll is closer to home. For me, growing up in the warrens of Iowa with no road racing circuits within driving distance of Jupiter, and only drag strips to satisfy our competitive lust, it has to be CSX 2019, the first Factory DragonSnake for me.

SPECIAL THANKS TO RON RICHARDS, AKA COMPUTERWORKS, FOR SETTING ALL OF THESE POLLS UP FOR ME. LETS GIVE HIM A BIG HAND OF THANKS FOR ALL HIS HARD WORK.

I picked the twin Paxton model. To me the Cobra is all about excess and that one takes the cake.

LeMans hardtop for me! Superb handling and a roof over my head (it gets SO hot here)!

I had to go with the first Dragon Snake, but the Twin Paxton was up there. If Ron would post pictures of these Cobra picks it would be really nice.

Cool

Wow what a choice, i want all of them but then the fliptop shines through mainly because its associated with Ken Miles. Great looking car, 2nd choice, Dragonsnake.

I placed my vote for 2196, but it sure is hard to go past the horsepower of a couple of Paxtons....

I would want the first Cobra. It was the start of everything after. What else is there to say?

Wink

Which would I want?

This might be blasphemous but I am not sure I would want to own an original. If forced (not to much twisting please) I would still go with the USRCC as I voted in the other poll.

Think about it. Not able to gain an monetary reward would be pure hell with the likes of some of the people in CLubCobra nagging me to give them the opportunity to not reap any financial reward from having the car.

I could not handle the likes of Jamo, Evan, McMahon and that waxer Cranky trying to persuade me to give up the car. Not in a lifetime would I want that kind of pressure.

Besides all that there are so few really good arguments about which orginal is better than some other orginal that I would not have any fun!
