Best 15" DOT Tire???

Without startig the 15 vs. 17 topic... I would like to know what is the best DOT approved tire, in 275-305 size would be.

Unless you are talking about DOT race tires they pretty much all suck. The BFG Euro TA's carry a H rating but I hear they may be out of production in the 305/50/15 size.

For street use, the Olthoff's feel the Yoko Avids are distinctly superior to any other non race tire. For the track, the Hoosier road race radials are in a class by themselves.

They stopped making the BFG Euro T/A in any size.. Goodyear Eagle GTII followed closely by the Firestone Firehawk's.. I have a set of goodyears for sale.. They are brand new on new Trigo wheels.. $1800.

i.e. pin-drives or not--if not what bolt-pattern...what tire sizes...?
