Tom,
You are torturing yourself because you know that Superformance will NOT paint another car Laser Red, guaranteed! They refuse do any 3 stage paint schemes especially Laser Red. When I mentioned to Dean that I told one of the attendees at the SSR2 last weekend, to ask him for another Laser Red car, the color suddendly left his face and I swear, green goo began to spew from all orifices. Dean had THE look, so be forewarned.
You could always make me an offer that I absolutely couldn't refuse! And you'd have a car that turns 505hp at the flywheel and 412hp at the rear wheels!

Tom W.,
Great looking paint job. Thanks.
Dan,
Never fear. I shall follow the advice of Teddy Roosevelt, i.e.,
"Speak softly and carry a big stick." Carrying a big checkbook can't hurt, either.
You don't REALLY want to sell me your car, do you ?? I don't want to be responsible for the subsequent withdrawals. No sir, not me. And I betcha within a month, you'd be in Dean's green goo-covered office ordering another Laser Red.
Tom

Tom W.,
Beautiful color.
I’m looking to go to the Ford Racing valve covers. Are yours the polished aluminum or chrome aluminum? Also, how’s that new undercar exhaust sound?

Thanks!
The valve covers are the Ford polished ones - a pain to keep clean. A detail that probably doesn't show in the photos is the corner that had to be trimmed off and welded to keep it away from the footbox on the driver's side. Those covers are really tall.
The exhaust sounds really good. See this thread toward the bottom for my attempt at a description
Dyno results and ensuing discussions

Laser Red
Here's my ERA FIA in Laser Red:
Check my Gallery for some other shots. It's a stunning color - especially on a curvaceous body like the Cobra.
regards,
Jeff
