Anybody heard of or used metalwax?
www.metalwax.com
Sounds too good to be true, but I thought someone may have found differently?

I have a lot of arruminium in my engine compartment, and polishing it with jeweler's rouge or simichrome polish just took too darn long. I saw this thread when it came out, and I figured I would spend the $16 or so and try this stuff out. WOW! WOW! WOW! This stuff may well be the easiest metal polishing stuff that I have ever used!!! It comes in two bottles, a cleaner and a wax. The cleaner is an "acid"-type liquid you apply with water, keeping the surface wet. Then you dry off the area to be cleaned. Then you apply the wax with a terry cloth, with the same size of motions you would wash your windows. Then wipe off with a clean terry cloth. I can clean and polish a 12" X 12" piece of aluminum in about two minutes, to a near-mirror shine. No more aching fingertips from polishing square inches at a time. And the best thing is, (Metal Wax says), is that the more times you polish, the brighter the shine. It leaves no residue like a polishing compound or rouge-type polish. I am VERY PLEASED with this product!

Placed my order today. If it's as good as Edley says, I will have some very nice looking wheels! Thanks, Edley

Chris, I used some carb cleaner to clean off some residual greasy "gunk" off the metal in the engine compartment, then used the Metal Wax cleaner, the the Metal Wax itself; and I am as happy as a pig in poop! (And, NO, I am NOT a sales agent for this wax!)
