Sway bars

I am currently building a Lone Star competition. I am at the roller stage and I am wondering about sway bars. Seems like they would be a good idea, but a lot of cobras don't have them. I am a small block believer looking for balance and handling.

Question: Are they needed (I am mainly going to drive it on the street, plus autocross, and sneek into any racetrack possible).

Does anyone have a Lone Star Competition with sway bars? If so, where did you get them?
