Who in the h........

...thought up these dam* quickjack thingies?! I have skinned and stabbed my head on these suckers so many times in the past few weeks that I'm ready to yank them! They are perfect for cracking open a scull.

John-Tucson 05-26-2003 12:23 AM

With my low tolerance for pain I usually stop banging my head into immovable objects after the second time.

BT SNAKE 05-26-2003 12:58 AM

Jamo, You mean you haven't hit your shin on them yet? Boy! talk about smarts. Everytime I get near a Cobra with those on it I envariably skin the shin.  :JEKYLHYDE :3DSMILE:

Hersh:)

Put the bumperettes on...they look nice and they don't bite..:3DSMILE:

Excaliber 05-26-2003 02:36 AM

I'm still nursing the most recent snake bite from the sidepipe.

Sometime, way back when, man learned to walk up right. If you stopped acting like a sheep running around on all fours .........:D :D :D

Get a couple foam rubber "footballs", slit them open and cover the jacks. You'll still hit your head, but it won't cause near the pain!

Bob Putnam 05-26-2003 05:11 AM

Rumor has it that these were available as options.

Darn it! BT beat me to the punch! They are awesome "shin peelers"!

Another great and extremely easy on/off skull and shin protector is the insulating foam tubes for water pipes found at any hardware store. Cut to lenght with a pair of scissors and they already have a slot built in so they fit right on.

Ohh, I don't like them things :D !

Am I the only one that smells something fishy? What the hell is a lawyer doing with his head so close to a quickjack? And why so often? :D

Ron61 05-26-2003 07:05 AM

Jamo,

If you are having that much trouble with the quick jacks on the car, for God's sake stay away from the side of the car. I can just see your hair melted into the exhaust pipes. As stated above. if something hurts, stop doing it.

Ron :D :3DSMILE:  **)

Hair...........

Did you miss the other thread Jamo was showing his big ole ..well you know. For goodness sakes Jamo don't sit down beside the car after it has been running. I hear tell that heat seals up plumbers crack, you just need some solder

Dan Semko 05-26-2003 08:21 AM

And here everyone thought Jamo's southern exposure was a natural occurrence. Jamo, those are actually anal stabilizers.....back into them slowly and they'll hold you up while you try to figure out what you were doing there in the first place!:D

petek 05-26-2003 08:43 AM

Jamo, you've got them mounted upside down. They are actually gun racks, one for the front and one for the back.

Wayne Maybury 05-26-2003 11:44 AM

Jamo
I know how ya feel. I banged my head once or twice on those quickjacks and I must admit that I have wacked my shins several times on them also. However the worst pain I have suffered from them was once trying to get from under the front of the car while not being quite clear of the quickjack as I went to get up, all the time with one arm still part way under the car holding some tools. You haven't experienced pain until you have securely stuffed the soft part of your upper arm into the bottom of a quickjack. I am much more careful now.

Ummmmm

.....they uster say "LIfe's an IQ Test..." and the fact that you've decided to blunt those devils after the 6th or 7th unplanned encounter with them speaks volumes. However, just the mental IMAGE of cauterized butt-cleavage sounds like something out of Saddam's play-book! Ick-a-poo! Go with the Bumperettes (great girl-band from the 50's!)!!!

Paul Gillespie 05-26-2003 07:30 PM

Try wearing a helmet... ounce of prevention beats a pounding headache. :D

David Kirkham 05-26-2003 07:38 PM

I think U-2 would refer to this as "Poor Situational Awareness."

Just pretend they are autocross cones and you will never hit one again!

David:) :) :)

Dan Semko 05-26-2003 07:42 PM

You had to ask "if it's all shiney down there"...that's all the incentive for Jamo to post another plumber picture for you to see for yourself!;)
