Evan pulls a Houdini?

Is there any truth in the recent rumor that Turk has struck REAL fear into Evan's heart by completing his new CSX and having it at The DV Spring Fling? Evan, what's the story here.....are you pulling a Houdini on us?

REAL 1 05-29-2003 08:53 PM

$hit. I knew it was only a matter of time before this made the board.

G.R. 05-29-2003 09:02 PM

Me too Evan, I was hoping to meet you and wanted to see the "famous/infamous" CSX:D

Turk'll probably try and burn his down before the Fling:LOL:

ToyCollector 05-29-2003 09:03 PM

I swear he does searches for the word REAL and then replies!! ;)

Dan Semko 05-29-2003 10:25 PM

So Evan,
Clarify the situation. Don't tell us that you're intimidated by Turk's CSX. I know, the Mrs. REALLY wants to meet the Gasholes and you're afraid that when she REAly finds out what we're like, you'll be alumnus!;)

BTW we have official Gashole excuses available!

Jamo 05-30-2003 12:25 AM

Evan, you a$$hole. Why do you do this?

I rented a Continental as a backup car for the Fling. We may need to pile some Gasholes and an ice chest in that boat and pay you a little visit.

Excaliber 05-30-2003 01:54 AM

Evan,,,,,,,busted dude! What was it,the threat of the lake monster? The flames in Turks carbs? What REALly happened? LOL

Ernie

Wayne Maybury 05-30-2003 09:12 AM

I get the feeling that I have missed something. Don't tell me that Evan will be a no show at the fling this year.

wilf leek 05-30-2003 10:14 AM

Evan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And you were gonna buy me a beer an' all.

Oh well, that's one less person from Joisey that I won't have to spend all weekend correcting his grammar I suppose. LOL

REAL 1 05-30-2003 12:46 PM

Guys: Don't get me wrong I appreciate the "love" you guys are expressing. Its not that I wouldn't like to spend the weekend with belching Cobra loving, Rakki swilling, sweaty degenerates with bad breath and body oder its just that I have too much on my plate work wise. Starting back to back trials during that period.

If I do go it will be a last minute thing and decision (if I can get a room at that point).

I'm too stressed out! :JEKYLHYDE

Jamo 05-30-2003 01:02 PM

I thought it might be something like that.

Can we come and watch you?

If you do show up, you won't need a room. Since you're gonna be all keyed up anyway, you can stay up and watch the cars.

computerworks 05-30-2003 01:05 PM

YOU'RE GONNA DO A FLIP-FLOP, NOW???!!!!!!!

rdorman 05-30-2003 01:15 PM

That stinks!

I know I was looking forward to meeting you! Hope you make it even if it is at the last moment. You will find a room. So you are an attorney, now that explains a lot! ;)

I get a kick out of the 'outreach' message in your signature line. That WOULD be the best of both worlds, having a REAL Cobra and one you can thrash on the track with out so much baggage!

Oops, before some one misunderstands "baggage" I am talking about $$ invested, that easy to dent body, the show car paint, etc. To have a car that was built to trade paint. This is not an FFR bash! FFR is what got me started looking at replica's, oops, there I go again, Shelby Tribute Cars!

I should just shut up while I am still ahead..... or should I say, ALOT ahead??

You could even run a small block in the track car.......... $hit

What made me say that, could it have been Satan?

Good thing it is Friday

Homer, ........er , Rick

casaleenie 05-30-2003 02:12 PM

Evan,

When you say trials, do you mean the clinical trials you're involved in concerning Cobra envy and CSX depression???:3DSMILE:

xlr8or 05-30-2003 02:34 PM

Good idea Jamo.
We can all go up there and sit in the courtroom during his trial and heckle him during opening statements.

wilf leek 05-30-2003 03:46 PM

Hey - I'm up for the ride. Always wondered what toxic waste looked like anyway.

Would they appreciate spell checking and grammar corrections during opening statements?

petek 05-30-2003 10:31 PM

Wolfie,

As the "LAW" is based upon precision in language, I am sure that the court would be both appreciative and impressed with your most vocal detection and correction of spelling and grammer!

(Man, is this going to be fun to watch or what!!!)

:)

REAL 1 05-31-2003 06:52 AM

Ron: Not flip floppoing. I just wanted to make sure you had adequate time to make alterante plans.

One trial starts June 16. May last all week. May of of interest to you guys since it involves a suit against a mechanic who installed an engine in a Porsche race car. The engine dropped out of the car at 100+mph at the Glen. Car destroyed.

If I can make it at the last minute and find a room at that point I will go.

Excaliber 05-31-2003 10:28 AM

Oh that will be an interesting trial,,,,,,,,

Cobra depression and CSX Envy. Uh,,,I mean the Porsche racer thing, yeah that it's.
