Just a quick question - Is anyone else having trouble getting to the SAI website?

Regards,

Keith

The real message

I think we are all missing the boat here.
If a Ginsing Company can buy, back merge or whatever they did with SAI then we are all in the wrong business.
Lets face it..
They sell $hit that grows in the ground that is not regulated by the FDA, people take it in mass quantities and think they feel better while not knowing if they are frying their insides..
Talk about snake oil!!!

I think Steve is onto something here.:p

Maybe we should all band together and sell real snake oil (Cobra of course). I'm sure we can find enough suckers (opps I mean customers), who will believe in the mystical healing power of Genuine Cobra Snake oil.;) ;) ;)

Keith

I sure do look forward to seeing the financials when they post them to include the SAI figures.

coyled 06-05-2003 02:33 PM

Steve, go read the release again. They did not merge with SAI. By the way, anything that grows in the ground is probably safer than all the "FDA" approved cancer causing preservatives in averybody's diet. Scott

Scott

I will read the release tonight.
As for the other thing on the FDA, I don't agree with proven fact.
First, as for the Cancer drugs, I am not talking about that but all the rest of you should read this to stay healthy.
I am talking about the pumping of many different types of vitamins and herbs that claim wonderous results. It is all bull.
Being in the Life Insurance business, I see it all. Many time I have young healthy applicants with no bad family history that eat the right foods, do not drink or smoke or live in an asbestos ridden garage. So why are they declined or postponed for Life Insurance pending further testing? I have had many with liver problems that had been taking many different herbs and vitamins on other peoples say so and guess what? A lot of it is not reversible.
Bottom line...
If you are healthy, don't buy in to the $hit someone wants to sell you about these so called miracle feel good and long life pills because of some Asian guy that is 118 yrs old and out playing tennis in Tahiti.
These unregulated substances are rarely what they say they are and their potency can vary by a great deal. I wouldn't sprinkle them on my lawn...

Coyled,

At the turn of the century (the 1900's) the life span was around 50 yrs. Today it's around 75. Personally, I think it's all those FDA approved preservatives in everyone's diet... I think it's the artificial sweetener in Diet Coke that keeps me going... Thank you Drug Companies...

"Ginsing tea, the offical drink of Cobra owners" See you all at the DVSF tea party.....:MECOOL:

Moral to the story: If you want to stay healthy, stay the hell away from doctors. I should know, I've been one for 23 years!:D

427sharpe 06-05-2003 07:31 PM

Hmmmm.
Maybe CS is protecting his name and associated nomenclature that he claims to license...Cobra,GT350,etc...
Might be a good hedge against some raider trying to dispute his claims if Venture sells SAI out....

btsai 06-05-2003 07:36 PM

Boy you guys are cynical. :)

Guess it boils down to fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

I'm still holding out for some good to come out of this.

I dunno Dano--are yur feet bald too?

Excaliber 06-06-2003 12:49 AM

Ginseng? Snake Oil? Caroll Shelby?

This is a match made in heaven I tell you!!! Where can I buy stock, I want in on the ground floor! LOL

If Shelby is nothing else, he is one helluva a business man. I don't know how it will all work, but I gaurentee you C.S. himself won't be loosing any money on the deal.

I thought Venture owned everything but the Man's Name.

I think the old man is craftier than that. Bet anybody a SAAC brewburger he covered his ass and Venture is about to get what they have coming to them.

I Think...

..that the way CS had it set up was that SAI was licensed by Shelby Automobiles Inc. to use the "trade dress, etc." of the car and Carroll Shelby Licensing licensed the trademarks to SAI (but not the Cobra mark that Ford owns). If he pulls these from SAI Venture has a company with no real "Shelby" products.

Note that the Ginseng deal is with Shelby AUTOMOBILES Inc., not SAI.

I recall that Shelby Automobiles Inc. was the company set up back in the 80's to do the Chrysler cars, these came from Shelby Automobiles, not Shelby American. OL' CS has had a bunch of corporations and layers of intertwined structures for years. He may be willing to "write-off" SAI and let Venture dangle with it and the Series 1.

Just my best guess.....

Steve, you are correct, just eat healthy foods. Drugs are usually not neccesary. Don't tell the drug company's, it might jepordize there little illusion they have going. As for life expectancy, better health care from birth to death is the reason, allthough your body is designed to heal itself if you don't poison it. Guys, Venture is a creditor of SAI, nothing more. Scott

I have always said driving a Cobra increases male potency.
Now.......it may all come true !

stush 06-06-2003 07:46 PM

Tidbit in Autoweek about FFR and SAI. David Smith no comment and CS saying SA is not for sale because there isn't anything to buy. " I own the name Shelby, Shelby American, and Cobra" says Shelby. "I own the lease on the facility, and there isn't anyhting there but some parts"
