Lunch at the Sandwich Factory, Ventura, CA - June 7
The next date for lunch at the Sandwich Factory in Ventura, Ca. is Saturday, June 7 at 11:30. Any and all are invited.
I am aware of the event celebrating Carrolls birthday, Lynn Parks clued me in at Knotts. This date was picked at the first of the year before we were aware of the Peterson Event. No matter where you go, have fun and drive safely.
Any and all in the Tri-Counties (and beyond) are invited. Food is good and wives are invited. The group is growing all the time. We now have 40+ Cobras running 4 on the ground that participate.
If you are coming or might come, sign in or email me so I can let the Factory know how many to expect.
If you are building a car or just interested you are also invited.

John and Joanne,
It looks (today anyway) as though I will finally make it up WITH my car!!!! I'm knocking on wood as I type this. I can't tell you how excited I am. The downside is I'll have to leave by 12:30 to get back in time for my son's yearly piano recital. So, I'll probably show up a little early, hang out a short time and hit the road.
See you all soon, Steve D***ey

The Sandwich Cruise
Hello John and thanks for the heads up. Since I actually have the car running pretty well right now, I will not drive it this week so that it will be running for sure on Saturday - YES, I will be there! Am looking forward to a nice drive and BIG sandwich.
Regards,
eric

Hi John,
I will try to make it, but I have to go to Lompoc for my brake and light inspection in the morning.

Nearby Car Museum
Hello Everyone,
I wanted to make everyone who will be coming to lunch aware of the fact that just around the corner is a Car Museum featuring many different kinds of collectable cars. Unforturnately, there are no Shelby cars there YET (maybe someone would like to donate the usage of one for show purposes) but being only 2 1/2 blocks from the Sandwich Factory - would make a nice stop on the way to or from the event.
Dan Murphy, Museum Director, is offering anyone with a Cobra car FREE admission to the Museum on Saturday. Get there BEFORE our lunch event and see the Olds Club of LA in attendance testing out a 1903 Olds cross country racer which is on display.
I (Eric Bernocco) will attempt to organize a group to go over after the lunch meeting and I hope you will consider coming along. I will announce this at the lunch meeting also.
Here is their website and address. Hope to see you there!

Thanks John for still sending me the post cards. As with several times in the past, if work does not interfere, I will be there. You're local so you know what it has been like lately <waaaah>
Good thing I get paid OT.
Steve,
Your car is running?! GREAT NEWS!
Hope to see you all there, take care
PS Thanks for the heads up about the museum. It is on the list for the day. I'm most likely to stop by on the way to the Sandwich Factory.
