Mystery Bumper Sticker
I've seen this bumper sticker in use for a few years now and I have no idea what it means. Can anyone shed some light on this? It's quite small... proably no larger than a credit card. Just two black bands with a blue band in the middle. Only once did I see one with a red band in the middle.

Ah, the thin blue line. Betcha it works as well as the "I supported the 2002 Police Dinner" type stickers.
I'd rather have a tiny picture of John Cleese and just explain to the officer that caught me speeding that "Well yes sir officer, I am an idiot. See, here's the sticker I've got!"

As someone who had his own reserved spot at the local courthouse , and successfully argued to about a 55-65% win rate (and I mean total exoneration), I've just learned to not get pulled over and play on the track.

I find that a well placed US Marine Corps sticker has much the same effect. It seems many / most law officers are former Marines.

Under Computerworks Georgia newspaper article at the bottom of the page they have a printer friendly version of the thin blue line. I ran off enough copies to paste them all over the back window of my Cobra

That's exactly what I thought. (I have mixed feelings on this one.)
