In Need of an SPF
Fellow owners/enthusiasts;
Need some direction/help. A good friend of mine, who now resides in Columbus, OH, is on the hunt (is a serious buyer) for an SPF Cobra---he's a bit selective, in that he's decided he wants a particular color (blue/white stripes), and definitely BB. I think he can be pursaded in color preference, if the car has the right combination of everything else.
He will be attending DVSF next weekend, and looking to buy. He's in town (ATL) this weekend---we consumed a few beers last evening, and he's serious.....and his wife if all thumbs up as well, which is always a good sign. In fact, the last thing she said to me last night was, "please find him a car".
So.....if anyone has or knows of a car that is on the market, please let me know. I know he'll pay a fair price for the right car---he's done his research.
Thanks;
BigEasy

charlie,
I am sure your friend will have plenty to look at if he's attending DVSF. Also, if he's in Columbus, they ought to make a visit to Dynamic in Ross OH. Since there are more sellers than buyers right now, he should be able to find one that meets his color and BB preferences.

Charle, I was down at Southern Automotive ordering an engine this week. They have a very nice SPF for sale on the showroom floor. I believe it has an aluminum 427 with dual quads. And if I know Bill, it's about as correct as it could be. I suggest giving them a call - 770 898-9360.

Hey Tony;
Thanks for the lead---I just spoke with Bill, and that car sounds like a real player---alum block 427, stroked to 510.
Maybe a little more than my buddy wants to pay, but I think a fair price for the car equipped as is----I'm going to call him about it.

Charlie,
Except for the color which in my opinion looks even better than blue and white stripes (If that's possible) I believe my car fits the bill. Check out the ad for Superformance #1601. on the Cobras for Sale section of Club Cobra. My car is only one month old. Don't want to sell but unfortunately am forced to do so. Photos can be seen in my gallery.
Thanks,
John

Charlie,
Is your friend Dale? If so we've already been talking via e-mail about a Blue/White BB SPF a friend of mine has. If not Dale e-mail me on the side and I'll connect you and/or your buddy with my guy.
See ya,
Jeff

Thanks John--I'll check it out and send him looking.
Jeff--It is Dale, so sounds like the connection is already made there.
Thanks again;
Charlie
