Phazer Radar Jammer
ANYBODY HEARD OF THIS DEVICE.
IT CAME UP ON MY COMPUTER AS ONE OF THOSE WONDERFUL UNSOLICITED ADS.
IT ACTUALLY SOUNDS PRETTY NEAT; PORTABLE, 90 DAY RETURN POLICY, ETC., FOR $169 PLUS SHIPPING.

Not legal in most states. Don't know if your device works or not but in principle you can't interfer with police/fire bands, radar bands, etc. It's possible that your car could be confinscated and as such just may plain ol' not worth it. My question is, WHY?

Wasn't this product exposed a year or so ago as completely phoney? Somebody took one apart and found nothing inside that did anything at all, which was not surprising since there were many claims that it didn't work at all and the company would not give refunds. If I remember right, they claimed to pay your fine if you got a ticket while using their device, then ignored everyone who sent in for it. That's what I remember about this product or a similar one that claimed to do the same thing. A search on the forum would turn something up, I believe.

Terry,
Why would you need such a device, ever Cobra owner has claimed that if they are not on a race track they have never put the pedal to the fiberglass. We all own Cobras for SLOW drives around the country side and some actually take them to differant race courses during the year. If this thing works or not as a Cobra owner you will not need one.

Yes I can answer that. Have owned the product for over 1 yr now.
It works as stated, past 100ft.
Has kept me out of multiple tickets )
A friend of mine is a state police. That happens to drive a 00 Mustang for his squad car. He personally checked it out for me on the back roads. My speed ALWAYS showed ZERO on all types of radar and laser!
It is NOT a jammer....that IS illegal.
It uses reflective technology and is NOT illegal ia any state with the exception of WA and and DC, I believe.
However it IS illegal in every state by the use of "truck drivers".
The choice is always yours to make, but I don't go anywhere w/o mine.

I've had one for 5 years or so and it seems to work !!
I figured it was just a box with a couple of lights and a noise maker but I have been shot with radar (X,K,Ka) and they didn't stop me but I rarely go more than 7-8 MPH over the limit.
I did get a ticket the first year I had it and the guy got me because I wasn't paying attention and didn't slow down when the radar detector went off....I was listening to Tim Wilson on JB&B show!!! Laughing my butt off even when I talked to the Cop!! He thought I was nuts but he was nice enough to reduced the speed to 76 in a 65 zone!!
Sent it to Rocky Mountain Radar and they paid it ASAP!!
Been paying more attantion lately!!
BTW....I don't use anything in the Cobra......Only in the Crown Vic.
