My Brother Came Home!

Fellow Car Nuts!

My brother came home from Iraq this week! What a great site he was to see. All four of the brothers got together and went out to lunch at a greasy Mexican joint today...it was great!

Last night for Sunday dinner he played with all the nephews and nieces and had a great time. Nice to see a big tough SF guy playing with the kids. He couldn't get enough.

He talked very little about getting shot at and said it all seemed so far behind now that he was home. No bragging, just glad to have finished his job and to be home.

It was so nice to see him. I thanked him for his service to our country and I am so grateful for his return. What a relief for our family. My mother and father were so happy today. I feel so sorry for those family and parents who didn't have their son, daughter, mother, or father return. We owe them all a great debt of gratitude.

Great Day at Kirkham Motorsports!

David:) :) :)

A special salute to your brother, Dave, and all of the great people who served in Iraq. I could care less if they ever find WMD. They kicked out a bad guy who was always a destablizing influence in that part of the world. Glad he made it home safely.

David,

I am so glad that you are enjoying the return of your brother, and please let him know that I cherish his efforts. While he was fighting for our country's concerns, I was enjoying the freedoms he helped protect. As I got to witness this weekend, you are all a tight family, and fiercely loyal to the great business you have established. I am proud to be one of your customers, and even prouder knowing your brother fought to protect my privelege to drive a Kirkham.

OK, so Thanksgiving came a bit early to the Kirkham family. :3DSMILE: In all seriousness, it's guys like your brother who put the independence in Independence Day. Give him our thanks.

Welcome Home!

Hi David,

Say hello to your brother for me and give him a big Thank-you for his service. By the way, did he swim home just to stay in shape?
So happy for you and your family.

John

Great news ... and THANKS!!!

Turk 07-07-2003 10:08 PM

Why do I think he was safer there, as compared to getting caught up in cross fire between you and Tom?

Thanks to the Kirkham brother we have not yet met!

David,

Welcome home to your brother.

It is indeed a very good feeling to have one come back from such duty.

I remember when my Brother returned from Viet Nam, I hope your feelings are as great.

Jamo 07-07-2003 11:50 PM

David

I know you were all anxious, and I'm glad the wait is over. My best to the whole family.

David:
Glad to hear about your brother. Please give him a welcome home for me.
I'm sure your parents are even more relieved than you are that he's back. I felt that the 3 years I spent in Viet Nam were a immeasurably harder on them than it was on me. I knew what was happening, they could only imagine and I'm sure that was worse.
My best for your brother, you and your family

Great Day

It is good to know that all the Kirkhams are home safe.

Job well done by your brother.

I pray that all those still in Iraq return safely as well.

Jamie
