Thumbs up Roscoe a published author?

Roscoe-
Nice article in Kit Car this month. Too bad you had to go through all the overheating trouble, but at least you got your car in the magazine.
I swear I've read that article somewhere before though . . .hmmm... did you do a cut-and-past from CC?
The pictures look good too. Nice job!

Mike

Mike,

When I read the "author" post title I thought for sure Roscoe had written a cook book....

Thanks guys. I sent a response to an article in KitCar regarding cooling and outlined the problem I had. The editor liked it and asked me to do a piece for the mag. After I sent it in he asked me for more so I now have 3 more in line for publishing and some others I'm working on. Just fell into it. You never know what's around the corner.

Roscoe

By the way, the cookbook is over at
http://www.priveye.com/recipe/mainrecipe.htm
I just don't have the time to work on it as much as I'd like. Have it all in the computer but just can't get around to uploading it all.

Congrats Roscoe,

As usual I probably wont' get my issue until tomorrow. I swear since I move to the burbs my mail has slowed down by two or three days.

Nice article Roscoe,

I wonder though what the real problem is. Is the impeller larger or does it fit deeper in the cleveland block? It seem to me, there must be some physical size difference to cause that much of a problem. Is there any way to differenciate between the Cleveland and Winsor water pump other than the part number?

Write lots more, please. That KitCar is getting mighty thin.

Paul

Paul,
I never did figure out what the actual cause was and what the differences were between the pumps. The car always ran hot but never got cronic until sometime last July. I sold the pump to a 351C owner and I suspect it is fine. I don't think there is any way to tell the difference unless you are really a pro on these parts/engines.

Thanks for the kind words,
Roscoe
