"how fast is it" Faster than that POS you showed up in. or how about: Bring your pick slip loser? "how much did it cost" Ever hear if you have to ask, you can't afford it. I guess that explained your stupid a$$ question? or how about: does your wife swallow "is it aluminum" Some of it. or 'flunked metalurgy?' or 'no, is yours?' Shirts for guys with attitude. I tried those types of questions and was met with negative hostile responses, and frankly I did not want some disgusted individual accidentally scratching my car, if you know what I mean. There are a lot of jealous mean people out there. I just wanted to keep the shirt in a humorous frame of mind. I have been selling these t-shirts for over a month at Cruises etc.. What I found out is that you have to be very generic with the message and the car otherwise you open yourself to a lot of resentment if you exclude other factory-built replica owners. Which is why my car is a coarse screen in black. So far I have done very well with this design. I started this thread a couple days ago and already sold 10 shirts off of it so far. Thanks. How well do they sell at cruises, etc...? I understand what you are saying about being very generic, but when I initially designed the shirt, it was actually aimed at a different forum, which is meant for FFR owners. It used that forums logo on the front, and that is why I used the FFR term on the back, because I was only marketing at the time to that forum. It really did well. At last count, we've sold over 200 of them. And damn, have my wife and I learned lessons about packing, shipping, ordering, etc... It has worked out very well though. But as you said, I don't want to exclude anyone, so I'm now changing the design by removing the "FFR" so it will now just say "65 Roadster" and apply to all Cobra owners. I love all the Cobra makes and don't want to leave anyone out, but it just so happened that I made the shirt originally for a specific forum aimed at specific owners. Now I want to bring it here too. Just got of the phone with someone asking which is the design I am offering the one in muliple colors (yours) or the one in two colors (mine)? Your image on this thread may be confusing some people. Just to let you know. You may want to start a new thread with just your design that way things will not get mixed up as they are getting right now. |
