..the only downside I have seen with AVG is a sensitivity to other installed programs on NT based systems, including Win2K and XP. I have cured instabilities by removing AVG.
This review seems to echo that as a problem.
They also claim the free version "advertises" in your e-mails, but i haven't seen that myself.
Otherwise, it is a fine piece of freeware for the home user...certainly better than nothing. |
