Question Foam Engine Blocks...

Anybody remember the name of the company that makes those lightwieght foam blocks you use to fit an engine in street rods? I looked all over the net but found ziltch.

Although I will concede that the weight savings with such a block will be substantial, you may dropping a little in the HP department

I'm not so sure. Mine is making as much power with the carb set up as it did with the FI, kind of cold blooded though.

The link to payr is probably the one you're looking for. I've got a small block one and I like it. I'm thinking about a bigblock now . Hell they're cheap enough, maybe a Cammer.

I have a P-Ayr in my rod. Love it, runs real quiet, doesn't leak oil, uses no gas, was also real cheap . Not sure about the bright orange color though, a little harsh with the gray primer paint

On a serious note, every accessory I bolted to it fit right on. It's the way to go for any tight rigging and lot's of in and out .

Well, it was worth a try, I wanted an Fe block but all they had was 460. I guess the 426 hemi is more popular cause they got that one..
