Thumbs up Daytona Coupe 2004 version...

Hey.

Since the Cobra had a new design, I thought I could make the same for the Daytona Coupe version.

It’s a modern design, with clean lines, and aerodynamically “advanced” (by my standards).

In my drawings, features some of the most important details from the 60’s model, though the look is very modern.

The under body is made to insure a big amount of down force. With this radical design, it’s possible to work with front down force and rear down force at the same time, with different air ducts. In the front, there’s a little wing, just under the car nose, and at the rear there are 'dual-phase' diffusers.

With this design in mind, I can use the lateral air ducts to make the side pipes protected…

Comments are welcome.

Best regards from Portugal,
Ernesto Freitas

I LIKE IT! Much better than the "new" cobra. The nose is a little long, perhaps, but it looks good.

Default modern coupe

very nice ernesto and yes you sure can draw. If I remember correctly werent you looking at a Pilgrim Sumo there in Portugal, curious because I just bought one here in the US. By the way I visited your fine city about 10 years ago while I was in Portugal visiting relatives.

Thanks guys.

Frank, I’m not the guy who’s got the Pilgrim Sumo. It’s Portuguese guy but from Oporto city. His name is Pedro Maia. I’m from Guimaraes.

Did you visit Guimaraes? It’s a very beautifull city. And now "Guimaraes" was added to Unesco's World Heritage List in 2001!

Take a look…

Got your email Ernesto, Great looking car. Might be a little long in the nose, but still captures the coupe.

You do need to do something with your drawing talent. Less than 1% of people can do what you do. There's a market for it.......go for it.
