2004 Cobra Calendars
Where does one go to find Cobra calendars for 2004?

I was thinking of trying to produce one using members cars, but not sure if there would be enough interest, or if it would be cost feasable. I think it would be a cool Christmas stocking stuffer (to stuff our own stockings).

Your timing is good. I just checked the proofs last Friday, and expect to have the calendars ready for shipping by this Friday or next Monday. Everyone who has seen them says it is even better than last years calendar. There are 2 pictures of the Brock Coupe, a picture taken in the Swiss Alps, and many other great pictures. As always, I am offering a special discount for all Club Cobra members. To get the discounted price, enter "999" in the field named car number on the order form on my website. This will give you a price of $14 instead of the normal $15 website price.

Cheaper this year?
Looks like the shipping costs are lower this year if you order more than one. Making friends at the post office, are we? ;)

Calendars are out!
I just got back from the post office. All paid orders have been shipped! Thanks for the orders. My website was down for a few days, but it's back up, so go out there and check it out. While you're there, vote in the favorite picture poll, download some wallpaper for your computer and work the puzzles. It's like building a kit. You get a whole bunch of little pieces and turn them into a cobra.

A cobra calendar with a variety of makes and hot babes would be a BIG seller! :3DSMILE:

Getting tired of looking at the Blonde on the Mac Tools Calendar from 1989 are you? Me too?
Besides I have a space reserved on my garage wall for just the right Cobra/Babe poster. I would prefer that she be photographed with a "REPLICA" because I doubt if much of her would be real either. Clois:3DSMILE: |
Bob, I did a 2003 calendar for our Tucson, Arizona, guys last year. I used a local national franchaised printer. They do this stuff all the time and led me through it. The biggest problem that I had was getting photos from the guys. The printer will probably want photos rather than digitals. I put one or two cars on a month, mixed up the colors, and looked for an appropriate background for the month, eg. Dec. was a Cobra decorated with toys in it, Feb. was a red Cobra (Valentines Day) , July was a Cobra on a race track, etc. Make sure that you look at the calendar closely, some don't have the hoildays marked, some have too small a day box ( most of us make notes on the days of importance). The actual printing took only three days. The final cost was $14.87 per calendar and I'd purchased 40 of 'em. Have fun, it's a worth while project. John PS. Thanks for the reminder, I've got to get started on the 2004 calendar.

Woohoo! Just got my Silverfoxcobra calendars in the mail! Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet! (extra e's omitted for the sake of brevity) Nearly every month is poster quality. The Swiss Alps shot and the Red Brock Coupe are particular standouts. Nice job, Ron! You've outdone yourself!

Ron: Are you the one that does the calenders for Second Strike, or is that a different calender?
|
Ron,
Nice calendar: Thanks! Anybody else: These would be great for the gearhead on your Christmas list, the kid down the street who ogles your Cobra every time you go by, and just anyone who likes Cobras. |
Terry: Yep, Mike sells my calendar on his site. But it goes further than that. Besides being an excellent engineer, he is also a very talented photographer. He has been a contributor to the calendar for several years. His car has been in the calendar previously, and he contributed 3 photos to the calendar this year, including both pictures of the Brock Coupe. His shot of the coupe at speed on a dirt road is dynamite. No sense shopping, though, the price is the same in both places. :-)

So only SPFs can get in your calenday?
Great calendar, got mine today! David Lowell |
I'm dying of curiousity - who's in the Brock coupe in the Feb shot? It says it was shot in SA, but the car is clearly a left-hand-drive (intended for America? Or was the photo reversed?).
Is that Pete Brock driving? And who's in the passenger seat? Jim Price maybe? Seems the seats are set awfully far apart. I'd like to get an up close look at one of those bad boys. |
Just got my calendar in the mail 11-22-2003. It arrived in great shape. Thanks.
I applaud your work and the nice photos and quality. Thanks Again!;) |
