POLL - Owner, Driver, Tech, Etc
I'm curious, now that I own a Cobra, as to the percentage of Cobra owners that simply drive the car, take care of the mechanical issues themselves and polish/wax the car themselves.
So, here's a poll:

I'm happy to see 3 votes (at this point) in my category - owner, driver, polish-wax, but I'm thinking that even more fun is probably had by the group that can also fix stuff - thank god that they are around to answer questions with those answers pass on to someone that can assist me with my Cobra.

Now, I can do A LITTLE stuff, like check the pins on the pin drives for tightness, thermostat change, crawl underneath and tighten everything i see, but I still voted as "Owner/driver/AMERICAN/wax."!

I hit the wrong button and screwed up the data. I own it, built it, maintain it, and clean it. Would not have it any other way.

I'm with you. So, you've found someone in your area that works on your Cobra, as necessary? It's been a interesting experience for me, as I'm in the AZ desert and had trouble finding someone that had a rack to get my Cobra up to look at a oil leak situation, but mission accomplished!

I am with Edley Rondinone. I have experienced people around with the equipment and expertise to fix any major problems and to assist on minor ones. John Vermeersch of Ford Racing has worked on a variety of replicas and originals. He has forgotten more than I will ever know. I use him when needed. I also have Rouch Racing and McClarren available. I maintain, clean, fix minor things and let real experts do the rest.
