I normally grab one of my Ferrari caps just to confuse people; and maybe I'm still suffering from an indentity crisis.
I have had the 308 for 20 years now.

I would wear a "Gashole" cap with pride if I had one.

I lost more than one hat driving the cobra. I slap on a pair of cheap sunglasses and let the hair blow in the wind. No hats anymore.

Rob of Hamburg 11-03-2003 11:31 PM

Pantyhose with gold tassels on the end of each leg. I tie the legs to the roll bar. The crotch rides right about.... well ... ummm....!!!
It is a nice snug fit and has never blown off.

Gasholes enjoy a certain amount of tolerance in here on Club Cobra. We don't want to start selling hats on top of all this.

Inquiries regarding Gashole Merhandise should be directed to their website or one of the gashole in private.

I found a Harley hat that actually stays on while driving. No strap in the back.

Jamo 11-04-2003 12:04 PM

CC Tolerance of Gasholes?

Hell...we don't even tolerate each other.:JEKYLHYDE

A baseball cap (fitted) New Era in summer either backwards or forwards depending on speed.

A Cangol Engish Style wool cap worn backwards in colder months. It looks like a beret.

wilf leek 11-04-2003 02:44 PM

Not that I care, mind, but please do post a picture of this "Cangol English style wool cap".

I should like to see what style I should adopt this season in England.

BLACKJACK 11-04-2003 03:52 PM

DON'T WORRY, WILF,

THAT "RED BARON" COSTUME YOU ARE WEARING IN THE PICTURE SUITS YOU QUITE NICELY - - REALLY.

Y'ALL HAVE A REALLY GREAT DAY.

BLACKJACK

Hey Wilf!
Here's a snap of the Kangol...

Come to think of it... Perhaps all the thumbs up I get in the Cobra are not for the car... but rather the strikingly handsome and debonair driver in the car with the dashing cap.... (NAHHH)

kountzecobra 11-04-2003 06:19 PM

Sorry REDSC but I really don't think you could wear a hat like that in Texas without someone questioning your sexual preference!

hodgey 11-04-2003 06:31 PM

How about a black stuffed polyester snowmobile cap with an elastic chin-strap? I sport one, and I call it the "Hood-of-Hyper"!

Edley Rondinone 11-04-2003 06:49 PM

Usually a Cobra hat, similar to Mr Mustang's, with the strap on the back tightened up......no problems, but then again, my head sorta looks like Tweety Birds'!

Bryan Wilson 11-04-2003 07:52 PM

Kangol cap

This is me with my favourite hat while driving my Cobra.

Kountz!
That is funny. Some folks can wear a Beret and some just should not, if you know what I mean? Yahh, things are different in Texas. Was sent to the county Jail there back in '89 for doing 75 MHP from the Airport. As soon as those cops saw I was from out of state, it was.."Hoo there Partner... Please put your hands behind your back and CLICK and then I was wisked away to the hooskow" Not funnnn.

Waited there all night untill I saw the Judge in the AM.

BTW, they make ****TY grits in Dallas' Jail. Only thing worse was the coffee. Not that I am a GRITS expert coming from the Northeast but hey... Ive had grits that were good and those were ... NOT.

Here in the NE, we generally do not judge folks by the hats they wear... The Kangol Cap is much like our Aussie Friends' (Brian Wilson), but if you put the brim behind, you look alot like a Black Beret or Special Forces guy.

Nice Cap there Brian! Nice ride too Amigo.

I have a nice tan canvas Kangol...my wife won't let me wear it around her.

Turk and I have discussed new Gashole designs several times. Berets look good, but FTF.

We're thinking Fezes...that way we'll be ready for parades.

JAMO!
You ARE SICK... LOL...

I am weak... Fezes

My sides hurt from laughing....

Oh... OK... lets get serious now....

What Color Fez?
Any piping?
A tassle?

Any Idea of the Coefficient of Drag on a Fez at speed?

Perhaps we should do a string test.... Hummmm...

This Fez thing has possiblities for sure...

Jamo 11-04-2003 08:56 PM

Gashole colors...red with golden yellow details.

Propellers would be an option.
