Not Ranked
I have thought this car was really going to be something since I first saw it on their site awhile back. I have to say, it looks very impressive! My only concern will be the cost once you've gotten the necessary running gear. 97 and up late model vette parts aren't going to be cheap and a good transaxle from Porsche won't be either. And the cost of the kit is substantially higher than say building a Cobra. I do believe if one wants to spend the money, this car has the potential especially with it's lightness to blow any new production car off the road! As for spending $10K on a Z06, you will not have the performance as you will with this car even if it just utilizes stock components from a late model vette. Target weight of <2200lbs, holy poop! It's got the Z06 by what, 800lbs or so?
I would be concerned, with spending the kind of money it will take to put this car on the road, of the fit and finish. It will have to be show quality! IF, they want to sell many.
Oh yeah, you will title it just as you would any other kit car. Special Construction, or use a titling company and go the sleazy route.
