I just recieved a letter today fom SPF--basically SA has an economic transition. the US dollar fell 35% to the SA Rand--SPF prices are going up 10% due to labor, manufacturing, and development costs after Jan 1--marketing ploy, maybe, but I doubt it--may be the reason The CSX plant there looks non-working, nothing much going on--this may affect other replica Mfg's as well. Just a FWIW

Gary,I heard rumblings of this several months ago.This is going to affect quite a few manufacturers from SA I would assume.One reason I went ahead and ordered my ERA.The domestics may become a bargain in relation to the imports(unless they decide to raise prices too).It looks like all you guys sitting on the fence have another reason to convince your honey that there is no time like the present to get in those orders!Christmas is right around the corner, after all!(Hee Hee)
