Congratulations...you will have a blast. I finished KMP 142 about a year ago, and it has only been smiles since that time.
I am a stickler for authenticity, and as Richard said, these cars are the closest you are going to come to the Thames Ditton cars of the 1960's. It is also well worth mentioning that a major part of the positive experience of owning one of these masterpieces is the opportunity to know and work with the Kirkham family...a nicer group of people would be very, very hard to find.
So, get ready for the experience of your life, and welcome to the Kirkham owners family. If you need any help or advice, I am glad to participate.
