Just what kind of "kit" could I tempt you boys with?
You never know what Santa might bring.

Maybe a 427, or a slabside hybryd?

The type of "kit" I'm talking about is the one with the body separate from the frame. What I have in mind requires massive modifications, and having the skin loose makes things a whole lot easier.

Merry Christmas to all...and to all a good ride!
Kirkham on eBay
I hope you all have a great holiday and a really GREAT new year.
We placed this one on eBay with absolutely no options or parts so as to allow more people to bid on it. This way more people will be able to start their dream.

Ok Guys,
David and Craig I'm watching you two.
Sounds like a Kirkham may hit our shores.
I'm interested. Perhaps I should have headed across to Utah when the fires stopped me getting to Shelby American. Anyway next time..
Craig will talk to you soon. I like the idea, if I 'm reading between the lines here correctly.
Perhaps an agent required down under.
Cheers
Bernie

Craig,
Still working on your idea. I think it will work.
I would like to have a car down under. It would give me an excuse to take my kids to see the Crocodile Hunter.

Bernie - you're not spying on me, are you???
Lots of plotting and scheming going on here..... I'm working for one of the "Big 4" banks now, so agent financing might work out nicely, too! Seriously though, I'm not an agent - just another guy that can see some aluminium in his future. David will probably jump in and say that I've included an extra "i" in aluminium......
There are probably 3 buyers that I've spoken to in the last few months that are ready as soon as we can get some specific rulings from Qld Dept Transport, and a better idea of a landed price (cost of cars+freight+duty/tax/excise etc). We could easily get 4 cars into a 40 foot container. As for the Vic, SA and NSW residents, that's another whole can of worms...
David, I think Steve Irwin spends more time over in the US lately. Greater population = more $$$, I suppose ! If he ever gets an American accent, we'll disown him

Ohh...Those poor victorians....I can see Craigs calculations now
cost of cars+freight+duty/tax/excise x 2 +a $hitload in freight to Southern capitols
Sounds about right
