G Force
David,
The first gear ratio of 2.87 sounds like a good idea, and may be a good option for me to go with, as I have narrowed my choices down to a TL or a G Force.
Jack21,
Good to hear from you again, and your post is very much on the button in my opinion, regarding the Tremecs etc. The Toploader is a very strong reliable gearbox and with David Kee offering different ratios its got to be a top choice for most engines. The G Force appeals to me, as I would like a straight cut gearset with the 0.90 fifth, or if they manufacture a 0.90 fifth for the synco box.
The G Force with a 0.90 top would be great with either the 3.55 or 3.27 ratio rear end!
I will do the numbers and see what happens!
