On a personal note:
My Cobra was VERY recently sold. How ironic that the car that inspired me to get "political" is now gone on the very eve of the Bill passing into law!! I had even seriously considered MOVING to the mainland because it is SO difficult to register a "replica" here. I am now carefully considering my options, which will become more clear when the "Bill" is law! I was "this close" to moving to San Diego as recently as a couple of weeks ago! I just opened a new business here ("Smart Building Control") and things are looking rather nice. By golly, I think I'll stay and enjoy the fruits of my labor! Ernie |

The last and final Hearing on the "Cobra Bill" passed with 100% vote. Now it's on the Governor. As there is no longer any party opposed to the bill we confidently expect it to become law.
Finally, there will be a much easier way to license a replica in Hawaii. ,,,,,, and not a moment to soon with my ERA scheduled to arrive this week! Ernie |
